Compassionate Hearts is a ministry of WinD that reaches out to touch lives with the love of Jesus Christ through ministering to those in our community who are in need.

How do we help?

• The Food Pantry is available for women in need on a daily basis.
• Gift bags are given monthly to the local Welfare Office to help needy pregnant women.
• Christmas and Easter Baskets are given to needy families each year.

The community of Central Florida is the target area for this outreach. However, we also send clothing, food, and gifts to children and women all over the World. In 2004 over 2000 families were blessed through the ministry of Compassionate Hearts.

The Lord continues to provide food and items for this ministry. If you would like to donate something for Compassionate Hearts, please call our office at (407) 267-1885. Women in Discipleship is a 501-C3 non-profit organization and all gifts are tax deductible.

Here are some ideas of needed items you can donate:

• small pocket tissues
• travel size soaps
• travel size shampoos
• travel size toothbrushes & toothpaste
• bathcloths
• hand wipes
• sanitzers
• hand/foot creams
• travel size lotion
• ribbons
• ziploc bags
• white lunch bags
• Cardstock (for bookmarks)
• ink for the printers
• pamphlets
• wordless book
• Local Resource Guide
• Ministry Assistance Guide

We also place drinks, snacks, candy, power bars, chips or small cereals in the gift bags. Monetary donations are also welcomed and appreciated.
