The joy of my life is Jesus! There is no other name under heaven which can bless us in Salvation true and free, only Jesus!

 

This past year I have been teaching the TO BEAR HIS NAME study. It is a study in the names of God. I have been moved profoundly by the awesome love of God to share with us lowly human beings this amazing, holy, perfect and righteous Name above all names!   Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one can come to the Father (God) but through Him! (John 14:6)

 

Because the ways of the world and religions are becoming mixed in our culture today I believe more than ever that we must as Christians know the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth of what salvation in Jesus really means. Do we really know the One True God?  Some are being led astray because they don’t know that God and god are two very different names.

 

Weekly for the year of 2006 we will be focusing in 1, 2 and 3 John. I will be taking the text and writing a brief Life Lesson from each passage studied. It is my hope that you will see very clearly who Jesus Christ is in the context of God! (John 10:30) The writings of John come by way of a humble Pastor’s heart. He shared quite amazingly his heart with his flock and I believe we will enjoy his inspired writings.

 

From the study of these books it is amazing to recognize that much of what they (John’s church) were dealing with in daily life is similar to our day. For this reason I believe we will all be encouraged through the weekly life lessons.

 

Knowing the True Gospel is so vital to reaching the lost for Christ. We will see the power of the Word of God and hopefully we will all be moved to witness and worship in a refreshing way.
