Women in Discipleship (sm)
Weekly Devotionals for 2006
Week Three
Dear Friends:
That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that you also may have fellowship with us: Truly our fellowship is with the Father; and with His Son Jesus Christ and these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full. 1 John 1:3-4
Are you excited about your faith? John was. He desired with all his being to extend the joy he had in the fellowship with Jesus and His Father and the salvation given through Christ.
The verses above truly extend to everyone who desires fullness of joy in this life and the next the opportunity to do so by faith in believing Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father.
John had a wonderful testimony in his eyewitness account of Jesus life, death, resurrection, words, miracles, and love.
Our lives in Christ should be no less dramatic in faith and actions.
QUESTIONS TO PONDER:
How is your daily life a reflection of the testimony of God's gift in Jesus Christ to you?
How is your daily walk being fulfilled through the fellowship of believers you are purposing to surround yourself with?
Is your joy at a place of true contentedness? If not what may be hindering this?
Are confession, cleansing and running in God's direction part of your daily exercise?
God knows your heart. He uses His Word and the testimony of John to encourage our fellowship with Him and one another. I pray that we each may enjoy Jesus more fully each new day.
Fellowship in the beloved dear ones,
Blessings,
Sandra Davis for the WinD. team
