WALK OF GRACE - My Spiritual Service of Worship
(Taken from the Walk of Grace Study by Sandra J. Mikler Davis)
January - Week 2: There are many religions in the world today. There are also many denominations in what is considered Christianity. Of all the Christian denominations, there are only a minority who actually teach and preach the truth of God’s grace. As we study grace in Scripture, we begin to know the one true God and His gift of salvation in Jesus Christ. This word, grace, opens up a whole new world of what my "spiritual service of worship" really means. (Rom. 12:1) As we share together each week, it is my prayer that you will grasp the incredible loveliness of God’s amazing grace, given freely to anyone who calls on the name of Jesus. For us, grace came at a great cost to Christ Jesus, but it is poured out abundantly to anyone who sincerely calls upon Christ for salvation. I pray that you will consider the deep ocean of God's amazing love, mercy, and grace to you, and that in so doing you will live a life of worship to Him. I urge you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. Romans 12:1 APPLICATION: Is my testimony yielding God’s best, through me, to others this week? Sandra Davis, for the team at Women in Discipleship
