WALK OF GRACE - My Spiritual Service of Worship

(Taken from the Walk of Grace Study by Sandra J. Mikler Davis)

February - Week 1:

God's grace is greater than all our sin.

Have you pondered that truth lately? All the sins of a lifetime are forever forgiven for those who are the brethren in Christ. Believers in Jesus are now children of God, saints, fellow citizens of Heaven, and members of God’s household. (Rom. 8:14-17; Eph. 2:19)

What is grace? It is unearned, unmerited favor with God.

Do you remember the story Jesus told of the prodigal son in Luke 15:11-32?
As you think about the story, which character might you identify with:

Maybe your salvation is new, and you relate with the younger son
Perhaps you have been a Christian for a long time and more closely resemble the older son
Or maybe you are a parent with a child like one of these two boys

As we consider God’s abundant grace, isn’t it wonderful to know that we have favor with God, and Jesus is the Son who has made it all possible!

APPLICATION:
How can I be fruitful for God’s kingdom and live like His Son this week? Lord, please give me your strength to do so.
