Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice!
Philippians 4:4
 

We can rejoice because God looked with favor upon us and made us the beloved.

The word kauchema (#2745) in the New Testament is sometimes translated "boasting." It means: that which one glories in; a matter or ground of glorying. (Greek Dictionary, p.41)

We all remember the words of Paul:
 

"Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may dwell in me." (2 Corinthians 12:9b)
 

Rejoicing and boasting in the Lord result from our WALK OF GRACE with Jesus.

Joy comes through obedience and willing surrender as Jesus lives through us.

 

APPLICATION:
 
What can I do today in my infirmities and weaknesses, giving Jesus the credit?
 
Can others see Jesus in my testimony?
 
May our testimony reflect the glory of Jesus always!
