As we begin once again to rejoice, pray, and thank God, we need to be reminded why we do so.
When the world seems contrary to the truth, those who are in Christ know that He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
The world may appear wise, but the truth remains as foolishness to those who are perishing.
It is our calling to live in the light of Christ and to allow His light to shine through us to the world.
It is also our privilege to seek His face in continual worship.

Romans 12:1-2 says:

Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies
a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your
spiritual service of worship.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing
of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is
good and acceptable and perfect.
