WALK OF GRACE - My Spiritual Service of Worship
(Taken from the Walk of Grace Study by Sandra J. Mikler Davis)
December - Week 4: The power to walk comes from Jesus Christ. He is the One we worship continually. We can rejoice, pray, and give thanks to Him, because He has given us the ability to do so through the power of His Holy Spirit! We are His beloved children, the brethren. We are redeemed by His blood, and we are delighted to continually offer our lives to Him as our spiritual service of worship. The God of the universe, who is perfect, holy, and almighty, has chosen to have friendship and fellowship with weak human beings. God does not need us; we need Him. Yet He desires our friendship, and through His grace He has made it possible. What a privilege it is to walk with Him! APPLICATION: Am I a friend to God? If so, have I demonstrated it today?
