ADONAI
The Jews of the Old Testament knew that Adonay was the one True God and they were the nation that Adonai chose to establish His plan for mankind, The plan was prophesied and fulfilled by Jesus Christ for the redemption of those who believe in Jesus as Jehovah, Adonai. Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he had done. Revelation 22:12
Adonai is a God who is prophesied in the Old Testament as Master, Lord, and Deliverer. He is God, who lived in the flesh in the New Testament and is a Servant of God. He is God who is coming again as Master and Lord in the future. We will see that each of His names reflect His Triune nature. His vastness of character and love is offered to us as we reflect and ponder His depth through the revealed Word! Sing praises to God, O kingdom of the earth,
sing praises to the Lord (Adonai). Psalm 68:32 Adonai was Lord to the Hebrew people, and to us who believe, Adonai is also Lord. He is our Sovereign Ruler, Master, Judge, and Lawgiver. As we close out this month and the study of Adonai, I hope you have seen the magnitude of this short word: Lord (Adonai).
