Week Three - JEHOVAH ROPHE (RAPHA) -- The LORD Who Heals
 
With Jehovah Rophe there is healing.
His healing is restoring, cleansing, and the holy cure for all of life's difficulties.

Moses and the children of Israel began their epic journey in the wilderness with Jehovah Rophe giving them "decrees" and "commands" (laws).
 
If you listen carefully to the voice of the LORD your God,
and do what is right in His eyes;
If you pay attention to His commands and keep all His decrees,
I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians;
for I am the LORD, who heals you.
Exodus 15:26
  1. If you listen carefully to the voice of the LORD your God
  2. And if you do what is right in the LORD's eyes
  3. And if you pay attention to His commands
  4. And if you keep all His decrees
Then the LORD would keep away the diseases like they saw in Egypt.
 
 
APPLICATION:
  • Am I listening carefully for the LORD in my Quiet Time today?
  • Am I doing what is right in the eyes of the LORD who sees me?
  • Am I paying close attention to the commands I see in Scripture?
  • Is my heart prepared to be obedient to His decrees, realizing that
    pleasing Him is more important than pleasing anyone else?
