Book of the Bible: Exodus Theme of the Book: Salvation – Deliverance of the Nation Israel The Law Defines Worship and Service Main Character(s): Moses and the Children of Israel The “Red Thread”: Salvation – Redemption symbolic of Jesus The nation of Israel will one day produce the Messiah of Promise
Key Verses: Exodus 5:1b and 20:2-3
Let My people go that they may celebrate a feast to Me in the wilderness.
I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt ... You shall have no other gods before Me.
APPLICATION: God is the Deliverer.
- What is there in my life today from which I need deliverance?
- Have I given it to God and by faith believe He will take care of it?
God calls us to worship Him.
- How am I worshipping the Lord in my walk of faith?
Messiah's salvation came through the nation of Israel.
- Is Jesus my Messiah, and how am I living that out daily?
