A wonderful “Red Thread” of salvation runs throughout the Bible, and each week we are looking at a different book of the Bible to see that Thread that leads to Jesus and God's perfect plan for redeeming mankind to Himself.
MARCH - WEEK THREE
Book of the Bible: I and II Chronicles Theme of the Book: From Adam to the return of the exiles, these books chronicle the history of the nation of Israel from before the flood to Abraham, the Exodus, nation building, Judges, Prophets and Kings. God keeps His promise to David through Solomon. Main Character(s): David, David's mighty men, Nathan, Solomon and the kings of the southern and northern kingdom The “Red Thread”: The Temple would be built by King Solomon as a sign of the eternal Temple that God promises will come in the establishment of His Son, Jesus. (See Revelation 21:22)

APPLICATION: There are numbers of promises in Scripture.
- Which promise am I holding onto as David and Solomon did?
