The Bible – Absolute Truth – Week 2
Psalm 27:4 One thing I have asked from the LORD, that I shall seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the Lord and to meditate in His temple. King David wrote these words of fearless trust in the One True God. Taking time to focus on God is the most holy occupation. In this high impact, mobile, charged and technological world, much is being lost to the "instant" hunger for things that matter not! Quiet, reflective, personal communication with the Lord is a thing of the past… or is it? The words penned in Proverbs by Agur simply state: Every word of God is tested; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him.
The Scriptures (our Bible) is God’s Word to us. It has been tested and is Absolute Truth. The Apostle Peter was tested, and he proved God’s word completely accurate. His account in the Gospels, Acts, and 1 and 2 Peter testify of Biblical Accuracy! We will see more in the weeks and months ahead. Where do you stand regarding God’s Word – The Bible? Christendom has many opinions regarding the Biblical Text. To make it known where Women in Discipleship stands…It is the Inerrant Word of God! No fake floods or big bang creation. God’s Word stands, every word from beginning to end. POINTS TO PONDER
