The Bible – Absolute Truth – Week 16
In the beginning God created…
'Behold, I am coming soon!
My reward is with Me,
and I will give to everyone according to what he has done.
I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last,
the Beginning and the End.'

Genesis 1:1a; Revelation 22:12

The history of the Bible tells the true story of mankind’s existence.

From Genesis 1 to Revelation 22, we discover people, places and events that unfold in a dynamic array of history, revealing the truth of our existence and the profound profit and loss of belief in God, Jesus Christ, and eternity.

Archaeology has been instrumental in our lifetime to document the accuracy of the biblical text.

From the cradle of civilization in Ur, to finding a Hittite capital in Turkey, to Solomon’s stables, the catacombs of Rome, a world-wide flood, and chariot wheels in the Red Sea, we continue to be amazed at the wonder of this perfectly accurate text, called the Bible.

Halley’s Bible Handbook is a good beginning point in which to see some of the historical digs that have taken place over the past 100 years.

If you wonder, just read the many discoveries and be amazed.

  • Genesis to Revelation - all the Bible is Authentic
  • Are you convinced?
  • Hebrews 11:1 states that Faith is the substance of things unseen
  • Does it help you to know that so much of what we have studied is now being documented as true?
  • We are to live by faith for Christ in this needy world
  • Are we?
