The Bible – Absolute Truth – Week 17
Can you bind the chains of the Pleiades,
or loose the cords of Orion?
Can you lead forth a constellation in its season,
and guide the Bear with her satellites (sons)?
Do you know the ordinances of the heavens,
or fix their rule over the earth?

Job 38:31-33

Science is an amazing field of study. Man continues to try and prove things that simply are for naught. God tells us plainly in Job that He is the Creator of science, the universe and mankind!

The more mankind delves into outer space or inner man, he sees divinity, perfection, power and order that are incomparable and without explanation. The more man tries to create, the more complicated the project becomes, with drastic consequences.

Science proves that only a Perfect Mind could create so completely. Have you seen those pictures from Hubble and other telescopes? Awesome comes to mind. Then I see a new born baby - astonishing handiwork! Only a Creator God could bring forth His image-bearer = mankind.

Science proves that the more we explore the universe, the more vast it becomes (already is), and the less we know, because more is discovered to explore, and the process continues ...

  • How has science helped you to recognize the amazing creativity of God?
  • What Bible references can you use to testify to someone how the world holds together?
  • Take time to read Job 38 to 41 for the joy of knowing your Creator as Job discovered one fine day long ago
