The Bible – Absolute Truth – Week 20
The Bible and Society:
Historically, when a culture has embraced the "moral law" as set forth in the Bible (Scripture), Torah, or Old Testament, culture thrives.
The Bible, from the beginning of time, has pointed out two sides of life:
right and wrong - sin and salvation - life and death - good and evil.
The Bible has been used in society, from early history until today, for man’s good.
The laws of nations, past and present, model what Scripture and God Himself established for mankind back in the B.C. of time.
The Bible is rich in resources to teach people the way of true life and godliness.
Jesus Christ came to earth to save sinners, and in doing so, He also taught mankind the way to truly live. No other person could accomplish in just 3 short years all that Jesus did. His mastery over weather, gravity, nature, life, death, disease and satan prove His love and power over creation and society for all mankind (Romans 1:20).
Does every human benefit from the Biblical Law? Without a doubt - YES!
