WEEK FIVE Being established in faith, through Christ, is abundant grace poured forth continually. Some days don’t feel like abundant grace. It’s those days, that encouragement would be most appreciated and comforting. A Bible passage filled with comfort is found in 2 Corinthians 1:3-5. Make note of how many times comfort is spoken.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For just as the sufferings of Christ are ours in abundance, so also our comfort is abundant through Christ.
2 Corinthians 1:3-5
In the end our ruination will have become the best thing that ever happened to us, for it will have turned us to the ONE to whom we rightfully belong - and in so doing we are restored.
