WEEK 24 For a Christian, this world is not our home. Our eyes need to be focused on eternity, rather than the things around us. This world with its pull for popularity, possessions, and purposes can distract the Christian mindset from our eternal home with Christ.
By faith he (Abraham) lived as an alien in the land of promise, as in a foreign land, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, fellow heirs of the same promise; for he was looking for the city which has foundations, whose architect and builder is God... But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God; for He has prepared a city for them. Hebrews 11:9-10 and 16

As the summer comes into full bloom, let us remember to get out our map (Bible) and immerse our minds and hearts in Scripture. Add to this: godly fellowship, and a healthy vision of the Heavenly city and Country that will be inhabited by God’s own people.
Happy traveling !
