WEEK 26
The LORD is my Shepherd; I shall not want. Psalm 23:1 Knowing the True Shepherd is possessing everything
|
David, the shepherd king of Israel, wrote these words. As a shepherd, he experienced the cost of being a caregiver in the fields of Bethlehem. But we see something special in this Psalm, because he recognized the Lord was his Shepherd. David had a real relationship with his Lord. He recognized the intense care, love and protection his Lord had for him. He rested and worshiped the Lord, because he lived in the I shall not want of life. He had peace because he knew the Prince of Peace. What about you and me?
