The Sermon on the Mount – A Sermon Like No Other Week 37 Blessed are you who hunger now, for you shall be satisfied. Woe to you who are well-fed now, for you shall be hungry. Luke 6:21a,25
As Jesus taught He observed the depth of spiritual malnourishment in the people. He saw that many in the crowd were there to receive more than mere “healing”.. They were there because their hearts were hungry for the food of the true Gospel. Jesus came to satisfy their deep need with His saving message. He saw the “knowledge” of the leaders. This knowledge had no power and starvation was in their future. This is significant for all of us. How hungry for the whole Gospel are we? Do we seek head knowledge without seeking the Truth? Peace can only come through the Satisfying Gospel of Jesus Christ alone! Truth #36: True salvation comes through the Power of God through Christ alone!
Blessings to all,
