A Faithful Witness - Week Fourteen Thus Samuel grew up and the LORD was with him and let none of his words fail. 1 Samuel 3:19 And the LORD appeared again at Shiloh, because the LORD revealed Himself to Samuel at Shiloh by the word of the LORD. 1 Samuel 3:21 Samuel, a prophet of the LORD (3:20) was the last judge of Israel. His obedience to be used of the LORD as judge was evident to see in the nation of Israel. At his death it is said And all Israel gathered together and mourned for him. His Faithful Witness, beginning at a very young age, (Remember he is Hannah’s first born - dedicated to the LORD) yielded a life of trust in God, obedience to serve, and to lead a nation into the times of the kings. As a faithful witness Samuel would judge Israel all the days of his life. His lifelong witness was powerful. May we also leave a legacy of faithfulness to the testimony of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
