Week Two

Blessed is the one who finds wisdom, and the one who gets understanding, for the gain from her (wisdom) is better than gain from silver and her profit better than gold. She (wisdom) is more precious than jewels, and nothing you desire can compare with her. Proverbs 3:13-15

Solomon, the king of Israel, knew he was inadequate even in his highly educated religious world view. He asked God, who is “all wise” ...

... to give him what only God could give, “godly wisdom.” May our prayer be for God to give us His wisdom as we make decisions and live for His glory and honor each new day. Help us, Lord, to seek You in every area of our lives.
