Godly Wisdom - 2016
Week Thirteen

Therefore many other signs Jesus also performed in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this Book; but these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name. - John 20:30-31

What is True Wisdom? We know the source is God! We know that mankind is devoid of true wisdom because all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)

God alone is the Wisdom bearer. As we celebrate Resurrection Day we have so much to be thankful for. God sent His Son, our Savior, the Branch, the Messiah to live a perfect life. With His obedient life He went to the Cross to redeem me and you! His life for mine! How amazing is that? His wisdom included my redemption and yours. Believing in Jesus, the Son of God, the God-Man, is powerful truth! Having life in Jesus name means more than simple assent to Him, it means surrender and obedience to Him! How blessed we are to have such a complete and indescribably Holy, Perfect, Loving, and Merciful Redeemer... Help us Lord to value You above all else! Amen!
