Godly Wisdom - 2016
Week Twenty

My son, eat honey because it is good, and the honeycomb which is sweet to your taste; So shall the knowledge of wisdom be to your soul; IF you have found it, there is a future, and your home will not be cut off. - Proverbs 24:13-14

The desire and pursuit of Godly Wisdom is a lifelong endeavor. The wisdom of this proverb is simple. The natural quality of honey is a healthy food for sure. It is natural and beneficial when consumed appropriately. It is good. The comparison of wisdom to honey simply stated is this; as honey is good for the physical body, so is Godly Wisdom to our souls. We can't live well without good food. We can't live spiritually without good wisdom. IF you have found it - hope is your reward! Godly wisdom only can be appreciated in the realm of Godly nourishment.
Help us Lord to desire Your Word as sweetness to our souls and health to our lives for Your glory alone! Amen.
