Godly Wisdom - 2016
Week Thirty

Yet we do speak wisdom among those who are mature; a wisdom, however, not of this age nor of the rulers of this age, who are passing away; but we speak God's wisdom in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God predestined before the ages to our glory; the wisdom which none of the rulers of this age has understood;
1 Corinthians 2:6-8a

True spiritual wisdom comes only from God. The mystery revealed is Jesus Christ the Savior to mankind. This wisdom is not of the world. All human wisdom will perish. Only wisdom from God through Christ is eternal and redemptive. The wisdom of the world denies the crucifiction and resurrection of our Savior and Lord. The "mature" person is the genuine believer who has been saved by Christ as we confirm in Hebrews 6:1 and 10:14 Therefore leaving the elementary teaching about the Christ, let us press on to maturity ... for by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are sanctified.
