Weekly Devotional - Week 7

Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.
John 17:17

The Christian way is the way of truth. God's Word is the truth. As Christians we are set apart to serve the Lord. We are called to obey His truth - set in His Word and for His glory alone. Our Christian Character is to be a walk in holiness, trusting Christ and being led by His Spirit.

The present life is to be one of continual abiding in Christ-likeness. The sanctifying truth of Christ is seen in His Word. Jesus is our perfect example. In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials, so that the tested genuineness of your faith - more precious than gold that perishes though it be tested by fire - may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 1:6-7 Help us Lord conduct our lives by Your truth. Amen.
