Weekly Devotional - Week 10

Do all things without grumbling or disputing that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast to the Word of life...
Philippians 2:14-16a

As Christians we are held to a higher standard. We were bought with the precious blood of Christ. He is now our life. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 states: Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God
in your body.

So, when something comes your way, and it is
unpleasant ... hold fast to the Word of life and instead of grumbling, or feeling defeated ... Glorify God in your conduct because Character is not found in who you are but who Christ is in you! Help each of us Lord to shine Your Light even when our lives are hurting, for Your glory! Amen.
