Weekly Devotional - Week 27

Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! ... Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is Pure.
1 John 3:1a-3

Isn’t this passage amazing! God’s Character has been poured forth upon His children. We are His children. We can’t see Him physically yet because we are still living here. But one day! We will see Him as He is! Oh, what a glorious day that will be! We see that this Hope actually purifies us ... just as He is Pure!

Matthew 5:8 states: Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God. Jesus stated that! We walk by faith now and then in heaven we will actually see Him!
Amen, Come Lord Jesus!
