Christian Character & Conduct - 2017 Weekly Devotional - Week 34
So much of Scripture symbolizes our Christian Character and Conduct. An interesting and very powerful passage is found in Romans 6:1-11. The contrast of sin and Righteousness, death and New Life, baptism into Hs death and buried with Him through baptism unto death and through Christ, raised from death to resurrection of life ... all describe the Power of God in saving a person by Jesus' crucifixion, death and Resurrection!
Therefore, we were buried with Him through baptism unto death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. (Romans 6:4) If I am a true believer in Jesus Christ, I will exemplify a new quality and character, a regenerated life where righteousness reigns! (Read Romans 6:1-14). Help me Lord to live this new life in You so that I will bring You honor today. Amen.
From my heart to yours,
