Weekly Devotional - Week 38

Christian Character and Conduct can only be demonstrated through the Love of our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ! It states in Ephesians 5:1-2: Therefore, be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.

Our purpose in life is to reproduce godliness as exemplified by Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. It is our “calling” to live the Christian life in a loving demonstration toward insiders and outsiders. The very purpose of our redemption and sanctification is to model the loving and redeeming quality of Christ to those around us and everyone we come into contact with each day. We do this by the Power of the Holy Spirit who lives inside us.

May our willing conduct prove a sweet smelling aroma of the Character of Christ through our words, actions and thoughts this day and always. Amen.
