As a Christian, I’m called to be a witness for Christ. It is my responsibility to recognize sin and flee it! It states in Hebrews 12:1-2a: Therefore, we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith...

In today’s world, there are many distractions and hindrances to obedience in Jesus Christ. As I examine, study, and obey God’s Word, I recognize the awesome responsibility of being God’s Ambassador! I’m called to put off any pattern of sin and put on Christ and His Righteous Character and Conduct. What weight of sin is presently trying to ensnare you today? The Holy Spirit always offers us a way of escape if we choose to run with endurance into the arms of Jesus!

Lord, help each of us choose You today and be a worthy witness of Your Grace. Amen.
