Weekly Devotional - Week 43

Have you ever considered the idea of true “peace” in life? Christian Character is a role model for this lifestyle.
Consider the words of David, the soon to be king of Israel, when he was fleeing for his life. Depart from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it. Psalm 34:14
And again, in the New Testament we see the writer speak these words: Pursue peace with all people and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord. Hebrews 12:14

It’s our job to pursue peace, God’s way. To be loving, forgiving, and peaceable is a true witness for the Christian life. Is it easy? By no means. But it is possible through Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit. This willing way speaks volumes in this crooked world of ours. This demonstration of faith is a willing witness of Christ and can be the very tool to draw someone to Him.

Are you willing to be used as a role model of Peace today?
Help us Lord be Your servant of peace and holiness today. Amen.
