Week Two - Sin and Salvation
(Need to know Scripture Verses)

Knowing I am a sinful person is the starting point of true
need and rescue.

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23

Recognizing my sinful nature and knowing that I need rescue from it is the beginning point of salvation. Jesus does the drawing and He tells us that all sin yields death.
Every one will die because of sin! BUT the promise of eternal life ... life with Jesus after the first death, is given to those who humbly recognize the need for rescue and surrender to the only One who can do the rescuing, Jesus Christ! This is Scripture Living!
