Week Five - Sin and Salvation

God is Holy! We are living in a process of drawing ever closer to God as we move forward in faith. One passage that has always humbled me regarding my salvation is in James 4:7-10. It’s actually a Call to Saving Grace!

Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinner; and purify your heart, you double-minded. Be miserable and mourn and weep; let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to gloom. Humble yourself in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you.

The call above is a prayer to the God who saves, Jesus Christ. All religions have rituals and prayer practices.
Only One Faith truly reaches to the heart of God ... those who humbly are drawn to the presence of the Lord in faith. This Call describes man’s response to God’s gracious offer of Salvation! Hallelujah!
