Week Eight - The Process of Holiness

Why is holiness so important to a Christian? The Apostle Peter tells us in 1 Peter 1:14-16.
As obedient children, do not be conformed to the passions of your former ignorance, but as He (the Godhead) who called you is holy, you also be holy in your conduct, since it is written “you shall be holy, for I (the Godhead) am holy.”

We are called to honor God, His Word, and our new life in Him with reverence, and respect and so we live for Him. Our conduct and character should reflect His holiness. Help us Lord to live for You daily! Amen.
