Week Ten - The Process of Holiness - Prayer

Conversation with God is Huge in the life of a Christian. The journey of our prayer life reflects our heart for Christ and the power of His involvement toward us.
Matthew 7:7-8 states clearly:

Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and you shall find; knock and it shall be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks it shall be opened.

First, we must understand that God knows best our needs. Then when we ask Him we are describing to Him the need we face. It’s documented on our behalf. We then move forward in seeking His answer “believing” He knows best our prayer request. As we wait, believing, He will respond His way in His time. We are to persevere! Either the answer will come or my attitude toward the need will begin to conform to His will! It’s a faith journey. God does answer ... He is always faithful!

Help us Lord to keep our prayer life a conversation of faith and perseverance in You and Your best outcomes for our good and Your Glory! Amen.
