Week Seventeen

A wonderful passage is found in Matthew 2:11 regarding
True Worship.
And going into the house they (the Wise men) saw the Child with Mary His mother, and they fell down and worshiped Him. Then, opening their treasurers, they offered Him gifts, gold and frankincense and myrrh.

The wise men recognized God in the flesh and they worshiped Him. They also gave an offering to Him. This too is a form of worship. Giving back to Immanuel (God with us) what is rightfully His. Desiring to humbly honor the One who came to rescue us ... who desperately need rescue is worship!

Thank You Lord for Your amazing rescue plan!
