He addresses the issue of Christ-likeness in 1 Peter 1:22-23: Having purified your souls by your obedience to the truth for a sincere brotherly love, love one another earnestly from a pure heart, since you have been born again, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and abiding word of God...

How amazing and wonderful is the gift of true Salvation in the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ. He is the imperishable seed, and His Word is life to everyone who believes.

May we each choose to abide in the shelter of the Almighty Word of God and live obedient lives, loving the brethren and sharing with the lost this amazing Grace! Amen.
