Have you ever pondered the words Peter wrote in 1 Peter 2:1-2? Listen closely to these words: So, put away all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander. Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation ...

Did you see it? Peter is directing the true believers to action. Get rid of the things of the old nature that are trying to linger. Utilize the spiritual milk of your true repentance and the gift of faith and grace in Christ’s forgiveness on your behalf. Run strong into the abundant spiritual milk of Christ and His word. This is the pathway to true peace and joy and hope and eternal glory!

Help us, Lord, grow up in You each day, with joyful anticipation of our future with You! Amen.
