Being Set Apart
Week 38

We are a unique family of people. Christians are Christ followers, and we are different because of Him. We are described by a variety of names in Scripture. One of my all-time favorites and most delightful description is found in
1 Peter 2:4,5,9. As you read these verses, focus on the wonderful names God has given to us, His beloved children.

As you come to Him, a Living Stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious, you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ ... But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for His own possession.

What an awesome family we have! Help us Lord to live each day in the Light of Your marvelous Love! Amen.
