Being Set Apart
Week 39

Being a child of God is an awesome gift. It also comes with much responsibility. Being "Set Apart" is challenging and also rewarding! Today it is a battle living as a child of God. Choices must be made daily in every arena of our lives. Even in the Christian community, wisdom is needed to know and do what truly honors God!

Listen to these words: Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God. Honor everyone. Love the brotherhood, Fear God. Honor the emperor. 1 Peter 2:16-17

If only we who are set apart would be obedient to Scripture. As Peter tells us: For this is the will of God, that by doing good you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish people. 1 Peter 2:15.

Help us Lord to not be foolish people! Amen.
