Week 41

When I see the harsh treatment of Christians who are held against their will because of their faith in Christ, I am amazed and thankful to know that God is sustaining them. The mighty hand of God. (1 Peter 5:6) is always at work in our lives for His purpose and glory. It further states in verses 6,7: so that at the proper time He may exalt you, casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you... Yes, our confidence is in God’s hands and our assurance is that His purpose is being fulfilled through the difficult and in some cases, extreme circumstances.
Our prayer of faith for the persecuted Church is powerful!

Help us Lord to remember those who are in extreme difficulty and prayerfully trust that Your will be done in all things. Amen.
