Being Set Apart
Week 42

When a Christian begins to recognize the profound truth that God indeed has "set apart" those He called His own, a burst of genuine thankfulness, humility, and gratitude spring forth. David, the shepherd king of Israel, had a moment like this. But know that the LORD has "set apart" the godly for Himself; the LORD hears when I call to Him. Psalm 4:3

This brief Psalm verse indicates the wonder and work of blessings given by God's grace to the believer. David knew His Lord, and as he states in verse 5 of the same chapter: offer right sacrifices, put your trust in the LORD. David had the right attitude, and his action in his work proved of value to his Lord.

Help us Lord to value godly work and worship Your way today and always. Amen.
