A humble truth that every Christian is reminded of daily is found in Psalm 16:1-2. David states truthfully these words: Preserve me, O God, for in You I take refuge. I say to the LORD, You are my Lord; I have no good apart from You.
As a Bible study teacher, one study I’ve taught is called “Godly Good Works, God’s Way.” In this study we truly see that if God isn’t the true teacher and focus and director, the work is just wood, hay and stubble – useless! God is the giver and the distributor of all that is truly Good and Glorifying.
Help us Lord to recognize that my way is not the way, but when Your way is working through my surrendered and willing vessel, all is well and souls are transformed. May Your way be my only and true desire today and always! Amen.
From my heart to yours,
