We rejoice in HOPE of the glory of God. Romans 5:2b
This New Year we introduce the Season of HOPE to the rejoicing heart. For the born-again believer (Romans 6:23) this HOPE is special! Why? You might ask. Because the HOPE we will explore indeed is CERTAIN ... but not yet fully realized.
Did you know that the word HOPE in the English language is not the most accurate word as described in the Greek New Testament? There is no truly accurate English word for describing the word HOPE. You see, the HOPE described is not "I hope so" but rather a CERTAIN KNOWING that the believer will indeed one day experience in heaven ... It will be glorious, as we see in our verse today!
The God of glory is waiting for us to see Him as He is. Something to truly ponder this first week of the New Year.
