I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in His Word I HOPE; my soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen for the morning, more than watchmen for the morning. Psalm 130:5,6
The Psalmist has a Certain HOPE in God’s Word. His Word will not fail (See Matthew 5:18). He puts emphasis on his conviction by repeating “more than the watchmen for the morning” phrase. It’s significant because he ranked his HOPE (certainty of God’s Word) of more importance than those who kept watch in the night! How do we value the Word of God? His promises are all true. His Glory is reality! His Love is Perfect. He is Holy! His promise of coming again is timely and eminent! Do we believe with Certain HOPE? Thoughts to Ponder!
