If in Christ we have hope in this life only, we are of all people most to be pitied. 1 Corinthians 15:19
People have argued since Jesus' day about the authenticity of His earthly ministry and specifically of His death and resurrection. All of today’s religions will speak of Jesus fondly, but they will always dispute His Word as Truth and the Power of His resurrection.
Even in Corinth in the 1st century the apostle Paul, inspired by the Holy Spirit, had to remind and emphasize the very Word of the Gospel message. He states clearly: For I delivered to you as first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that He was buried, that He was raised on the 3rd day in accordance to the Scriptures, and that He appeared to Cephas, then to the 12. Then He appeared to more than 500 brothers at one time, most of whom are still alive. 1 Corinthians 15:3-6a.
This is fact! Our Hope is in Christ! He is our victorious Lord. Let’s not forget that the Bible is His Truth!
