Our Hope in Christ
Week Twenty-Two - 2019

Our HOPE in Christ is certain and sure. In Week 12 we looked at this Sure Hope of salvation. (Romans 8:21) Have you considered that the creation (everything we see, feel and experience of the earth and sky) is also anticipating the future freedom from our corrupted creation? Listen to these words:
For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it in HOPE that creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom
of the glory of the children of God. Romans 8:20,2

We all see corruption in our creation from floods, earthquakes, wind, fire and more. We recognize that sin and Satan have and are making a mess of the once beautiful and perfect creation of Genesis 1. But one fine day our Sure Hope of Jesus Christ will right the wrong, and we will all glory in the Creator God we love so much. Amen, come Lord Jesus!
