Our Hope in Christ
Week Twenty-Eight - 2019

Our Certain HOPE is divinely promised and divinely guaranteed to all believers, providing patience and the endurance of faith. We know this because God has told us, and God is true and the source of truth. He cannot lie (see John 14:6,17). Listen to the words by Paul the apostle in Titus 1:1-3:

Paul, a servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ, for the sake of the faith of God’s elect and their knowledge of the truth which accords with godliness, in HOPE of eternal life, which God, who never lies, promised before the ages began and at the proper time manifested in His word through the preaching with which I have been entrusted by the command of
God our Savior.

Wow, there is such richness in these words! "The Word was God,” John states in John 1:1. Here we see deity – God the Father and His Son are One! "God my Savior." Help us Lord to teach truth with this authority in every church, home and heart today! Amen.
