Our Hope in Christ
Week Twenty-Nine - 2019

I am encouraged by how many Scripture references point to our "Certain Hope" of eternal life! Last week we saw how Paul encouraged this of his Certain Hope of eternal life (1:1). Now in Titus 2:11-14, Paul again confirms the Good News of our sure salvation in Jesus Christ.

For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-centered, upright and godly lives in the present age, waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession who are zealous for good works.

The HOPE of Christ's return in glory is part of our heavenly inheritance. We, His saved ones, will participate in the reign of Christ in glory! (See 2 Timothy 1:10)
